Batasia loop is located in Darjeeling and it is one of the most scenic place to visit in Darjeeling. The tea garden was created by the British during the second world war when they were forced to grow tea instead of coffee. The garden is made up of mostly bamboo, with plenty of other plants and trees added to make it look more natural.

Batasia loop has been declared as a protected area under the Wildlife Protection Act 1973 which protects its flora and fauna. There are many birds that can be seen here such as the peacock and pea fowl along with other animals like leopards, langurs and monkeys.

The first thing that you will notice as soon as you enter this place is that there are so many things happening around you. There will be people having tea or coffee, there will be people taking photos and there will be people playing music. It was so busy when we visited it but it was also very peaceful at the same time.

The garden has various types of plants including bamboo trees and bushes. It also has a couple of houses where they have put up some tables where they serve tea and other drinks as well as food items like sandwiches, etc., which were delicious!

They have also installed a large swing in the middle of the garden which was really fun to play on!
