North GOA BEACHES WHAT YOU WANT TO VISIT DURING INDIA TOUR
Unlike the beaches of South Goa, the beaches of North Goa are known for their wild party. While you may be able to get some secluded and peaceful pockets, this is not the most common thing. Therefore, if you want to have some fun and unwind with some of the best teams in India, North Goa beach may be in your favour.
Another difference from the beaches of South Goa is that the sands of this region are greyer than white. Although different, these beaches are very beautiful.
Best Beaches in North Goa:
White Beach:
Boga Goa is a beach that just gets everything. You can choose between reading a book while listening or practising one of the many watercolours available.
After that, you can go to the market, where you have to buy lots of items until you get tired. And then, you still have the option, you can call it a day or you can continue and enjoy that nightlife in the beach shacks.
A place to visit: Mambos, which is recognized as one of the best places for dancing on Boga Beach
Anjana Beach:
This Goa beach has a very passionate vibe. Although music is always played, it has a more relaxed atmosphere than Boga Beach. This is probably due to the legacy of Anjana. In the 60s, it was a favourite place visited by hippies. We are not surprised to consider the beautiful nature on this beach.
Although swimming is not recommended due to a large number of rocks on the coast, you have numerous water sports options to consider.
Places to visit: If there was no place for a party, it would not be one of the beaches in North Goa. Curls are the most popular.
Calangute Beach
It is one of the most famous beaches in North Goa. So, the busiest one. Crowds of tourists and lots of shacks if you don’t mind sharing your beach time with one, then you will be able to appreciate the beauty of Calangute Beach. It is the largest beach in North Goa and it connects you with other beaches.
Words to describe the various Calangute, where you can find plenty of food, water sports for practice and clubs where you can party all night. However, you can also choose the more comfortable side of Calangute by finding a great place for the seat a bit away from the music.
Arambol Beach:
Arambol Beach presents a direct contrast with Calangute Beach. It is one of the beaches of North Goa with its exciting atmosphere. Purity and peace reign here.
Yes, there is some music going on here and there is the nightlife. However, during the day, it is a perfect place to relax, interact with nature and enjoy your time.
What you can't miss: Arambol Freshwater Lake A hidden wonder On this beach you can swim in a freshwater lagoon that you can only access once you enter. The humming of the sand of this lake has healing properties.
Morjim Beach:
If you tour between November and March, this is probably one of the most unforgettable things you will see. Olive Ridley turtle nests in these months, and it’s spectacular. The nesting season may begin in late January or early September.
Another consequence of this event is that the beach is a protected one. This means there is a minimum number of shakes, which is not exactly the case on the beach. Moreover, there is no party at Morjim Beach.
This can be exciting if you have a calm encounter with nature. However, if you want to be loose at night, then you can consider another beach that you mentioned to us.
Candolim Beach:
The three most popular beaches in North Goa are Boga, Calangute and Candolim. Of these three, Candolim is less crowded throughout the year. Therefore, plenty of beach beds and umbrellas are available.
You can relax while sunbathing or you can explore some things on the beach. There is a ship called River Princess which has become a tourist attraction. It has been stuck on the coast for 19 years.
There are also beautiful Dandy Candolim observations. With so many dining options, you don’t have to bring your own food if you’re interested in trying local food.
Mandram Beach:
Mandrem Beach stands among the beaches of North Goa due to its calm and serene feel. With yoga practitioners on the beach, the view is unique. Therefore, Mandrem is not known for his team life.
Despite this, some resorts will sometimes host parties or live presentations. But it usually happens at night and it is not an everyday thing.
Take a bite: The most interesting thing about Mandram Beach is that there are healthy food options everywhere. One of the most recommended places is the verandah. These restaurants offer homemade food.
Querim Beach:
Also known as Kerry Beach, it is a Goa beach where peace is the norm. With beautiful trees all around, this beach is located in the most northern extreme region of Goa.
You have several options while you are here. You can take a ferry that will take you to Terekhol fort. This will allow you to immerse yourself in the history of Goa. You will also find that the Terekhal River meets the Arabian Sea, a sight to behold.
Vagator Beach:
Just when you reach Vagator Beach, you get a beautiful view that is impossible to forget. Vagator is an attractive beach because it is quiet during the day but it is bright at night.
You can relax, practise water sports, or explore the beach. There are so many shacks and the food is amazing. The many options you have when eating out make Vagator so popular among tourists.

Horse Beach:
Ashwame Beach is the largest beach in North Goa. Despite having a huge number of tourists, it helps you to make it your own. You can stay close to Shakespeare or find more secluded places if you like.
One of the curiosities about Ashwame beach is that it has become a habitat for many expatriates. Many foreigners have bought land there and some have even owned their bags. It gives you many more multicultural experiences.

Ojran Beach:
This beach is also called Little Vagator Beach. This is because it is very close to Vagator. However, access to Ozran is not the easiest. You have to climb a little higher to get there.
However, be sure to take a look around you when you are climbing the small hill. It's suffocating. If you are interested in stargazing, consider going to Ozran at night. You will just be surprised.
Remember: Since this part of India has become quite popular, the secluded spot may be more crowded than you would expect in certain months.
Donna Pala Beach:
Forbidden love stories surrounding this beach. There is an impressive monument depicting a man and a woman. The story goes that Donna Paula fell in love with a Goan man, which is not allowed. However, no one knows the real origin of the idol.
This rubbish of Goan history is one of the things that attracts many visitors to this beach. Furthermore, it is safe for both water swimming and practice, which is a plus.

This beach has the bonus of staying in Panjim. It is usually very clean and there is no shaking on the beach. However, right next to the food, the street is full of street food vendors.

Things to consider
Since Goa beach can be a party scene, you should take precautions when going back to the bar. While Goa is generally safe, there are a few things to keep in mind:
When partying:
There is nothing wrong with having fun and enjoying the nightlife on the beaches of Goa. But you should go with someone. If you have made a friend during your stay or when you meet someone while the sun is shining, invite them to consider the number is always safe.
Do not leave your drink unattended. As you should not do in any other region. If you leave the bar to go dance, get a new one once you come back.
Don't go out alone at night: This is especially true if you drink a little too much. Don’t walk alone on the beach or on a dark street at night.
At the beach:
If you have any valuables, it is best not to bring them to the beach. This is even more important when you are alone. If you are with someone you can keep an eye on when you go swimming, ask them for this little favour.
Respect the tide: As we said before, sometimes the tide can come too. Although most beaches are very quiet, there are exceptions. Besides, once you enter, the sudden drops are sorry. It is better to be safe than sorry.
Transportation
If you are riding a scooter, always forget to wear a helmet. You could be seriously injured in an accident. Also, the police can stop you. If you get in a taxi at night, make sure the driver is not infected. After all, always agree on a price before the car starts.
We’re sure with all of these options, one of which beaches appeals to the kind of day you want. Moreover, now you know what makes each of these Goa beaches unique and why they should not be visited! We hope you have a great time!
