Flower inside Denpasar airport

Flower inside Denpasar airport

I'm so glad to be back in my home country. I arrived at Denpasar airport on a beautiful sunny morning and as soon as I walked out of the door, I saw this flower inside one of the buildings. It was really amazing!

I've been to a lot of airports in my life. Some were nice and some were not so nice. This is the first time I saw an airport with a "flower garden" inside. It's pretty!

This is my favorite flower.

The airport was crowded, but I managed to get a few pictures. This one is from the ceiling of the airport.

There were many people waiting for their flight, and some were sitting on the floor. This one is a man-eating lunch with his family.

I have a collection of photos from my trip to Bali.

I have been to Kuta and Legian beach almost every day. I am so happy to see these beautiful places in my life. Every day, I will take some photos with my friends and family members. We love Indonesia because it is so beautiful here!

Denpasar airport

Denpasar airport is located in the center of Bali and is the main gateway to the island. The airport is served by several airlines, including AirAsia, Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, and United Airlines.

Denpasar airport was opened in 2001 as part of an expansion program to meet the growing demand for air travel in Indonesia. The new terminal has a total area of about 1 million square meters and includes nine departure gates that can handle up to 2,000 passengers per hour.

Denpasar airport is a public airport that serves Denpasar and the surrounding area. The single runway is capable of handling small aircraft, such as the Cessna 172. In 2005, it was used for the filming of "The Da Vinci Code".

Denpasar airport has a small terminal building with two gates. One gate is for domestic flights and the other is for international flights.

Denpasar airport is the main hub for Garuda Indonesia, Bali's national airline. It has three terminals: the international terminal (the largest), the domestic terminal, and the cargo terminal. The international terminal has been undergoing major renovations since December 2018 and will be reopened on February 28th, 2021, with a new pre-departure lounge, improved check-in service, and other amenities.

I was in Denpasar airport for a business trip and I had to go through passport control. The long line was not too bad but it was very crowded at the other end. It took me about 15 minutes to get through passport control and customs, which is pretty good for such a large airport.

Once I made my way to the main terminal, I found that there were only two lines for taxis on the ground floor: one for Uber and GrabCar, the other for traditional taxis. So I just walked down to the next level and waited for one of those lines to move.

Once I got out of the taxi, I noticed that there were several different airline counters on each side of the building. Most were open with people waiting outside, but some were still closed as well as guarded by security personnel.

I went over to check in with Air Asia because they had an office here in Bali (they run flights between Jakarta and Bali). They told me that they would be closing at 11 pm tonight so there would be no more check-in until tomorrow morning; however, they offered to allow me to print my boarding pass from home before then so that I could show it at their counter when we arrived later that evening.
