Travel Bandarban: Attractive Tourist Places that You Cannot Avoid

Bandarban Tour

Description of the Bandarban Tourist District and Its History

There is a legend about naming the Bandarban district. There are numerous monkeys living in the area. And these monkeys used to regularly feed salt on the hillside at the entrance of the city. At one time, due to the continuous rains, the monkeys were unable to go to the hills due to the rising water. The people of this town can see this view of the monkey crossing. From this time the place came to be known as the "Makachi raid". That is, in the Marma language Mac means monkey and pi monkey dam. The name of the area became Bandarban in the common pronunciation of the Bangla language in the stream of time. Presently, the name of the district has become permanent as Bandarban in the government documents. However, the real name of Bandarban in the Marma language is "Rod Koichi Mro".

The appearance of the district
During the British rule, Chittagong Hill Tracts was declared as a district in the 5th. At that time, Bandarban Hill was under the Chittagong district. Captain Magrath was the first superintendent of the Chittagong Hill Tracts. The activities of the post of superintendent of Chittagong Hill Tracts were further expanded in the 9th and the post of Deputy Commissioner was renamed in the 5th. T H H Lewin was the first deputy commissioner of the Chittagong Hill Tracts. According to the 9th Hill Chittagong Regulation, Chittagong Hill Tracts is divided into three circles - Chakma Circle, Mong Circle and Bomang Circle. One Circle Chief was appointed for each circle. Bandarban was then included in the Bomang Circle. The name of this district is Bomang Thong because of the inclusion of the Bomang Circle.

Bandarban started its administrative activities as a subdivision in District 1. It was the administrative unit of the Rangamati district. On April 8, the then Lama began as Bandarban Hill District with seven upazilas, including geographical and administrative boundaries.

Where is the Tourist District Bandarban?

Temple in Bandarban

Chittagong Hill Tracts is the most touristy district of Bangladesh. Bandarban is the main attraction of Chittagong Hill Tracts. Today, a group of travelers will travel to Bandarban to share their experiences.

On the night of July 7, I started my journey from Bandarban to Bandarban. From there, we go to Thanchi on the bus. In Thanchi's way, two names have to be entered and papers submitted. There is some work to reach Thanchi. They can be easily done with the help of a guide. You have to get on the boat before 5pm from Thanchi. So it is best to finish almost all tasks in three.

Multiplication of people number 1 means only 1, 3, 5 is good. BGB does not allow more than 5 people to board a boat. If multiplying that number by 1, it will not cost much. It takes an hour and a half to reach Remakri by boat from Thanchi. Remacri is awesome.

There is good accommodation in Remacri. If you do not spend the night there, it is not possible to know how awful nature is. At night, the call of Remacri Falls calls for the sound of noise, the constant murmuring of Jhi Jhi insects, and the genuine connection of the river hills. One day you have to travel from Remakri to Napakhum the next day. If the boat is too high in the Remakri canal, the boat can go to Nafakhum. I will recommend walking. Then you can enjoy nature as it is. And suddenly you might think you have moved to an ancient town from the twenty-first century, where there is no such sign of modernity.

It takes about three hours to reach Remacri. On the way many times you have to cross the Remacri canal. Sometimes knee water or chest water. Good to say, you must buy a plastic sandal and a polythene bag from Thanchi. Sandals can be taken anywhere you want. There is no such arrangement to be profitable, there are two houses, but it seems that the system is not good. If you have to go from Nafakhum to Jinapara, it will take another three hours. However, whatever the time, nature will never disappoint. The path can sometimes be quite difficult. It can be crossed with the help of a guide.

To go to Jinpara again, the canal crossing has to be done a few times. That will be spent another day. In addition to Ginapara, nights can be spent in Thyssa. The accommodation in Thyssa is good. Whether Jina is laid out and Thyssa laid out, the hospitality of the people there is heartbreaking. The next morning you have to get out early in the morning to go to Amiakhum. To go to Amiakhum one has to climb some of the higher mountains. Finally, the highest deity is the hill. The name corresponds to its height. And at the bottom of this hill is Amaiyakhum. The path of the gods is very dangerous.

It doesn't matter if it rains. That is why one more guide has to be brought from Jinpara. It takes three hours to reach Amiakhum. From there you can go to Velakhum. The time it takes for the goddess to come down from the mountain to reach Amiya Khum takes less time to climb the deity. However, the suffering also increases.

Occasionally, the condition of exhalation may be more urgent. Many do not have the experience of climbing such a steep hill. Then you have to come back for the night. It's the turn of the house. There are two routes to return from Jinapara, Thiesa Para. For those who like adventure, and hiking, Padmajhiri is the best. About seven hours up the mountain road, through the slopes, you have to reach Padmajhiri. Occasionally there will be two lakes that Can be made from dry feeding. Thanchi on the boat from Padmajhiri.

And the other route means that Remacri returned to the boat from there. For one thing, the extra price will be calculated wherever you go after the purchase. Therefore, it is best to take some light foods in advance. The more you get into Remacri, the more helpless you are. The presence of law and order in Bangladesh is very low. Occasionally armed terrorists are also seen. Don't be afraid, follow the guide. However, it is better to not bring danger by showing more smartness.

Experience touring the many hill areas of Jotlang Summit and Bandarban

Beauty of Bandarban

The plan is made, we will leave for Bandarban, with some traveling soldiers. Planned activities began. The bus will leave from Dhaka for Bandarban at night.
At night the bus departed. Just in time, I reached Bandarban.

Get off the bus and hurry again, why? Because Thanchi's bus should not be missed again. I caught my first trip in the morning. But, there are no seats on the bus. Hey what happened, the bus has no roof! Fourteen people got up and went. Not just fourteen people, more people there, like about 20-25 people on the roof. However, no one has ever had a problem. Just as beautiful, I reached Thanchi to see other beauty.

It was already noon. Will have to leave for Remacri. The boat was already fixed. So no time was wasted. In two boats, we got up. The boat is running opposite the river Sangu. Sometimes water gets stuck with rocks because of low water. Has been down a few times. On the way to Remakri Bazaar, after a little rest at Tindu, ate tea and boats again. On the way, we saw more Padmaukha, big stones, Rajpathar.

Finally, after 4 hours, I came to Remacri Market. Spend a little time climbing the hill. That's where the trekking began. It's the turn of the evening. The purpose is to establish our team. After walking, the evening and night came down. After three hours of hiking, hiking, climbing mountains and hills, we reached Dalyan Hill.

The bamboo fence is a little higher than the ground on the Dalyan hills and the houses of the pit camp are a little different. The night should be spent here. Cooking for food also started. Then after dinner, everyone fell asleep anyway, because in the morning they would have to wake up again. The night passed in the morning, the second day. The purpose is our Jotlang Summit. Our main objective is Bandarban.

Jotlang Hills is the second-highest mountain in Bangladesh. Height 3 thousand 3 feet. Second in height, but the most difficult to climb, is extremely extreme. The hike from this could not happen in Bangladesh anymore. For example: high is steep. Something has to get up and down. This climb of rock has made it the hardest of the hardest.

Only about 2.5 feet uphill. The hardest jhiri is the name of Loh Jhiri. The path of the shrubs is to cross at the end of the steep bamboo stream. Bamboo and Bamboo. The steep sloping soil made it even more terrifying. Some of the edges are so narrow that if one foot is placed there is no room for one foot. It takes energy, energy, and strength to climb a mountain, but it takes balance to go down.

However, on the morning of the 2nd day, we got up and left for the hill of Jotlang. So after six and a half hours of trekking, not pulling, in fact, after resting for some time in the middle, we arrived at 9pm for our desired goal. After going there for 3 hours I started descending again at 2:00 pm. The view from Myanmar to Jutalang Chura is very beautiful. The border of Myanmar started from the top of the mountain. Those who come to the summit in a bottle at the top are left here with a small note name. We did the same.

It's time to get down. The night passed by at dusk. I am moving slowly in the light of the torch light. No need to rush. We have suffered enough due to the lack of light. Finally, a few torches were made with a hoot. The light is good. We are moving forward in hundreds. Finally, after eight and a half hours, we reached our shelter in Dalian.

It was about ten-thirty at night. Everyone was refreshed changed clothes and sat down for dinner. Ah, what a taste, cooked food. Since we took all the food items from Dhaka, there was only a tie for cooking. After trekking all day everyone is very good. Once cooked, everyone ate and fell asleep.

On the third day, everyone is relaxed. There is no plan, no rush. I woke up pretty early. Trek the previous day, everyone is fairly tired, so today I will be in a chill mood all day, walking around. After breakfast, everyone is resting again. On the eve of the afternoon, everyone left Marma. There I left for the network for the purpose of setting up an old BGB camp in Dalian. A place to visit. From there I saw the sunset. Ah, what a scene! Robi is slowly disappearing from the top of the hill. I spent some time sitting at the camp's helipad.

On the fourth day, it is the turn of the party to leave. The purpose is to place Ulachine and fall over. I got up early in the morning with a heavy bag on my shoulder. Oh! Is he a Sun Ray father? The rash of the mountain roads and the sunshine of the thugs made everyone tired in the ranks. Rest and take a while. Since the thunderstorm is seen on the way for a while, everyone eats thirsty water. Dry food with. Whatever afternoon it was, I reached Ulachin. From there, Nafakhum is 5-20 minutes' walk. I came to Nafakhum.

Nafakhum, a shocking name in the kingdom of Khum. Which is totally the Remakri Canal. The stream of water flows from upstream to downstream is awful.
From noon until about noon, I relaxed, took a bath, swam, and played with food. It's time to go The motive is the same, the restraint. Start walking A little rest in the middle again. On the way, I bought a banana from a grandfather and played it. Hill art, taste is different. I ate a banana together with everyone to eat! The price is low, eighty bucks.

Finally got up Slowly the evening passed. The lights of the lights are in everyone's hands. This time no more mistakes. But the only thing wrong is, I lost the way. Finally, I spent a long time finding the trail at Athiram. This mistake was made at night. But only once. At one point I came to Jinnah while walking for the purpose of walking to Atiram. It had been a good night. Everyone is tired and tired. So everyone decided to keep going.

We are given a big house. Everyone is fresh and busy with cooking. However, the new item on the menu of the meal, is hill chicken. Fun eating However, it was a bit late to cook and some fell asleep. I was asleep too. But I got up and ate after hearing the call. It's a good night Watch the clock late at night. I fell asleep in a hurry.

On the fifth day, the purpose was to go from Jinnah to Thyssa and to Amiakhum. Once again everyone got up in the morning. But since night one of our members, meaning Raihan's brother has been so ill that he can't go with us. There is one more left to look after him. The rest left for Amiakhum. After crossing the Thais, the hill reached the hill of deity and reached the deity hill. A hill of impossibly beautiful. So steep and steep mountains, it was a lot of trouble for everyone to come down. It took hours to get down. The deity is at the foot of the mountain, Amiakhum. Got there

Apiakhima is a name in the world of Amiakhum, Khum. Widespread stone fibers fall into an endless stream. Behind him stands a huge rocky hill.
Subhan-Allah! What a scene The eyes are closed when you see them.

I had a good time there. In the meantime, I and Arif Bhai left for Velakhum. Rikhang's face is extraordinary. Come back and see if he sleeps. No one will sleep or get such an environment. So it's your turn to return. Before the evening, the gods must climb the mountain. This is the only fear of all. Difficult when it gets dark. So earlier we ran away. Within half an hour, I climbed the hill of the deity. Earlier I was saying that getting up is easier and less time-consuming. About evening, we returned to Jinnah Para, our place of refuge. The food is over. Everybody sleep

Sixth day, the purpose of Bandarban city. I woke up in the morning and slowly left Jinnah. We have to take the route down the Remacri canal. After walking for 3-4 hours, I came to Namakhum and went to the Remacri market. The route has been changed for proper reasons. The route plan was not it though. However, however, Remacri arrived in the market and immediately set sail for the purpose of Thanchi. At 2 p.m., Thanchi's last bus leaves for Bandarban.

So we were in a hurry. Arrived in Thanchi at 2am. Descending there, Rajiv Bhai ran for the bus. Luck got a good bus. We got up on the roof of the bus, even though there was space inside the bus. After about four and a half hours we came to Bandarban. Our happy tour ends here.

During my time in Bandarban, I saw many things and learned. Experience is different. Where to do what, when to say it, how to deal with indigenous people and more.

The main items of food we originally took from Dhaka. The dishes were noodles, sour mixes, eggs, potato stuffing, pickles, nuts, sliced fries, toast biscuits, dry cakes, slice cakes, misty biscuits, apricots, khorma, hill chicken, mountain bananas, hill buri, snail. , Glucose, ginger tea, milk tea, shrimp water, mosquito bites, oysters, etc.
