Beautiful Sunset Watching at Kuta Beach Bali Indonesia
Kuta beach is the tourist mecca of Bali, Indonesia. In my opinion, Kuta Beach is not worth visiting. It's a good place to start and end your trip as it is close to the airport but, unless you really want to do some hardcore drinking, there is no reason to visit Kuta beach.
The Best Bali Spots for Sunset Watching
- Seminyak. The beautiful long beach in Seminyak is one of Bali's most popular sundowner locations, and it's home to a number of great bars and hotels;
- Uluwatu Beach;
- Jimbaran Bay;
- Tanah Lot Temple Beach;
- Gili Islands Beach;
- Ubud;
- Pura Ulun Danu Bratan Beach;
- Nusa Lembongan Island.
- Jimbaran;
- Legian;
- Mushroom Bay;
- Nusa Dua;
- Padangbai;
- Padang Padang.
Kuta is where the modern era of tourism in Bali began. It is known for its long sandy beach and great waves for surfing (beginners and intermediate), as well as its wild nightlife and high concentration of bars, nightclubs, and hotels.
Kuta is famous for its golden white shoreline that rails north continues to draw tourists with attractions and activities other than the popular surfing coast itself.
Kuta is the hub of central Bali. Indonesia. There are really good places to stay, usually at Legian and that is 5 minutes from Kuta, or in Kuta itself. It all depends on what you want. Seminyak is the higher end with higher-end restaurants and a lot of embassies.
Unlike Seminyak, which caters to a slightly more exclusive (read: affluent) clientele, Kuta is a jumble of affordable cafes and restaurants. Cheap tourist cafes, fast-food joints, chain eateries, and local haunts are a frequent sight.
There is also the name Kuta Sunset Resort that is only 3-5 minutes drive from some of the most impressive bays on the Lombok Riviera, ensuring the best access to the centrepiece beach Tanjung Aan, surfing in Gerupuk Bay and restaurants, shopping and hospitality in Kuta Village.
