Photography with Natural Frame

Photography with Natural Frame

Using objects around you to create a natural frame

When composing a photograph, there are different techniques employed. Third and dominance lines can create basic effects like rules and improve your image, as well as a technique called “natural structure”.

Creating a photo with a natural frame indicates your subject to the eye of the viewer and is a great way to add depth and dimension to the image. It is a very simple strategy to learn; What you need to know for what you know.

Understanding natural framing in photography

A natural frame is created when you frame a second object such as a tree or a door in a photo scene as it is your main subject. It's really that simple and you've probably done it yourself naturally at some point.

Photographers use natural structures all the time to add drama to a picture.

For example:
A picture of a statue in a courtyard is more interesting if an ornately carved door is leading you into the picture.

An outdoor portrait of a bride and groom in Brando is more romantic with some autumn leaves hanging softly in the upper corners.

A floral arrangement still invites a life when it is framed by window light in the afternoon falling on the table.

A-frame can be any object, shape, or light that captures the way the rest of the image attracts viewers, draws their attention, and lets them see what you want them to see.

How to frame up your photo?

You need to practice pre-visualization to learn how to frame your picture. You need to look around your scene and figure out what can make the photo better. Just as you search for the subject of your photo, you need to find the second element that you can back up.

Good rules to follow adding a natural frame

The frames are usually in the main part and lead the viewer’s eye to the main subject behind it. However, a frame can also be a shade or shape of the wall behind your subject.

Decide whether you want the frame to cover all sides of the photo or just one or two sides. The examples of bars and leaves mentioned above are great for their intended purpose.

Decide whether you want your frame to be the sharp focus or soft and blurry. Both can be effective in different situations. Use f / stop to control field depth and achieve the desired effect.

Give your frame a distinctive shape and make sure you have it intentionally placed there. Should be visually separated from the rest of the image.

Avoid photo disguise The purpose is to make the frame stand out without a distraction from the main subject.

What are the implications for professional photography studios and the natural frames used by photographers? Did they divert your attention to the right place?

What can be used as a frame

Natural frames are found all over the world. As you begin to practice these composition techniques, you will see them around them.

Natural Frames - Trees, branches, tall grass, flowers, stones, and other elements in the natural world.

Architectural frames - windows, doors, fence posts, benches, sidewalks, and other man-made elements.

Shadow and Light Frame - Light through a window, a flashlight or street lamp, and other contrasts between shadow and light

Shape Frames - This one is really fun because it will look around to find them. For example, look through a tire swing to take a portrait or use a part of a public sculpture to structure the building behind it.

No one learns photography from the mother's womb. Everyone has to learn. Some learn in 2 years and some for life.

Here are some basic tips for those who are interested in photography.

Basic photography tips

Expensive cameras do not mean good pictures

The first thing you need to do for photography is a camera. If the camera is good, the photo will be good, this is our first idea. As the camera gets better, we also have to learn to take those expensive level photos.

Starting to learn about expensive cameras at first is like buying a bullock without a plough to cultivate a lot of lands. The photo below was taken with the basic camera (point and shoot) Canon SX 720 HX.

An expensive camera does not mean good pictures, basic photography tips

Although not a photo to win an award, it is enough to verify your own image in the initial stage.

Starting with a basic camera can be a gradual upgrade. Bad pictures without knowing it with an expensive camera at first, in fact, the reckless tie of learning can be lost. First, you can start with the entry DSLR.

You can get many Canon entry DSLRs within your budget.

Use a tripod

The tripod plays a very important role in taking good photos. If you use a DSLR, you must be stable with your hands. Perfect photography is highly valued in photography. You yourself must want the perfect clear picture. In the hot sun during the day, your hands may not tremble and you may not need a tripod. But there is no speed without a tripod to get the perfect picture when the evening light comes down.

Using Photography Tips-Tripod

After all, using a tripod should become a habit until you are a little still with the camera in hand.

Always keep a camera with you

Make it a habit to carry a camera with you at all times. Just as you can't go anywhere without a mobile, make sure you don't go anywhere without a camera.

Learn photography - always carry a camera

Always keep a camera with you

You don't know when and where to take pictures, which ones would be better if you don't take pictures. Even if you can't take a photography camera, take a picture with the camera of your mobile so that you can take a shot with a good camera from that position again later.

List phototype

Make a list of what kind of pictures you want to take. Try to pick them up.

What kind of picture is of interest to you? Portrait, Street Photography, Fashion Photography or Bird Photography?

Suppose you want to do bird photography. In that case, you must first list the bird type or your subject.

Then you need to list the type of photo you took. You can also take pictures of birds in the forest and you can also take pictures of birds at home.

When you are not with the camera, take more notes such as where is the light coming from towards the subject? At what time of day is the light available?

Start with a picture of a single object

Start with a single object/subject first. If there is only one subject in the frame of the camera, it is understandable to everyone, no matter how simple the picture is.

Gradually bring more than one subject into your frame. This will allow you to establish links between your subjects.

Basic Photography Tips Take pictures of single objects

Realize learning

There is no end to learning. Photography is like an ocean. You can't finish as much as you learn.

As long as you try to learn with interest, you will learn something new.

"Your First 10,000 Photographs are your worst"

   -Henri Cartier-Bresson

It is better not to use manual exposure unnecessarily. The latest model of the camera has the most accurate exposure in auto mode. If you can experiment when the photo is not in your mind. Not to mention the SLR camera, the latest compact camera has the advantage of partial manual exposure. There is no guarantee that the quality of a photo in your camera will be of the same ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed value, the same exposure value in another camera. Although the exposure value is the same depending on the camera model, features and lens, the photo quality may vary.
