How do learn to handle artistic photos?

If we shrink from a photograph into a whole object and decompose it into its elements, it turns out that any photograph is based on two elements:

Tell the tone

Colour component

The main task of the process is to understand the intricacies of tone, the intricacies of color, and ultimately what you want to see.

Experienced reducers or photographers first process the tonal elements, then the color component. This reduces the risk of processing defects and allows you to keep the strength and color of their expression cleaner.

It cannot be argued that this sequence alone should be processed. There are always exceptions. But it is better to stick to this line of processing.

Where to start processing photos?

Explore the selected photo until you understand what you want to do.

No need to rush to move sliders or look for a thousand and one presets for beginners.

The key point of any process is the artistic purpose, which is embedded by the process.

During my training, I noticed that I could not figure out how to handle simple walks.

After I realized that they were not interesting to me, I stopped wasting my time and deleted the process.

Weed out uninteresting images. This is the second thing you need to learn.

Do not waste time processing images that you know will cause boredom. It is better to remove something that is interesting and takes care of processing and retouching.

The essence of the process is to emphasize the positive sides of the law while covering up the negative and removing all that is unnecessary.

Basics of stone processing

What do you like about the tonal part of the photo?

Is it dark or too light? Is it too contrasting or dull?

Are there any lighter and more eye-catching areas from the main elements of the law?

So fix it.
