Mathbaria Mirukhali 200-year-old Antiquities

About three and a half hundred years ago, a historical zamindar dynasty was established here. Its location is only three kilometres away from the district town. The palace, nahabatkhana, guest house, theatre and innumerable temples were built in this zamindar's house.

The palace had about two hundred buildings, large and small. Among them, 40 or 50 high-rise buildings adorned the palace. Kalimandir was built in 1658 in the zamindar's house. There are about 25 Mana Rajan Shiva Lingas here. It is the largest Shivling in the subcontinent.

Although it is an ancient monument, there is not much consistency in the renovation and protection of these structures in various crises. The building collapsed due to the collapse of the front of the main awning.
