Chimbuk Hill has located about 23 km from Bandarban district town. 

The beautiful scenery on both sides of the winding road to the 2,500-foot-high Chimbuk Mountains and the beauty of the spiral Sangu River are soothing.

Chimbuk hills are located in Ruma Sadar and Bandarban Sadar of the Bandarban district. 

There are several ways to reach Bandarban. Various buses ply for Bandarban such as Saudia, S Alam, Shyamoli, Unique, Dolphin, etc. The fare on these buses is around Tk. 750. You can reach Bandarban within 9 to 10 hours from Dhaka. 

If you want to come by train, you have to take a train ticket from Chittagong for 250 to 600 taka. In that case, you will get various trains from Sonar Bangla, Turna, Godhuli, and Prabhati to Dhaka to Bandarban from Kamalapur station.

When you reach Chittagong, you have to go to Baddarhat / Purbani bus terminal. In that case, the ticket cost from Chittagong to Bandarban is 200 to 300 taka per person.

If you want to come to Chimbuk hill from Bandarban, you can get various types of vehicles from Bandarban city station. Such as the moon car, jeep, and Pajero. You can reach any of these vehicles on the way to Chimbuk hill.

You can also go to Bandarban in a private or rented car. You can go here by jeep or moon car. 

Chandigarh/jeeps/microbuses / public buses can be added here.

Besides, there are numerous hotels, motels, resorts, and rest houses in Bandarban.

If you want to visit Chimbuk hill, you can take dry food and enough water from Bandarban city.

Don't hit the natural beauty of the mountain by throwing plastic, or garbage where it belongs.

Indigenous people can buy hand-made utensils as a memento of Chimbuk.

Do not do anything that is disrespectful to the tribals.

As Bandarban is a hilly area, it gets slippery during rains. So Chimbuk hill is suitable for winter travel.

Chimbuk's train from Bandarban is closed after 4 pm. So if you want to come back in one day, it is better to go in the morning and come back at the right time.

Caution to travel Chimbuk hill

When renting CNG, Mahindra, or any type of car from Bandarban city, contact the station directly and get the right bargain.

Being in a hilly area and out of town, it is difficult to get a network. You can take Robi and Teletalk SIM with you for emergency contact.

With a private car, you can actually confirm the route through Google Maps or by hiring a guide. If you lose your way, there is a possibility of a big accident on a hilly road.

Being a hilly road, extra caution is required while driving. It is better to avoid Chimbuk road during the rainy season.

If you have not booked in advance at the resort in Chimbuk, it is better to get in the car in Bandarban by 4 o'clock.

Since Chimbuk hills are located in inaccessible places, it is better to have adequate food arrangements.
