If you can't afford a digital cabinet, make your own "dry box". Buy a cheap, airtight and transparent plastic container and put some silica gel in it. The larger this type of dry box, the more camera equipment you can put in it. You can also put a digital humidity meter in the box. This meter will help maintain a certain level of humidity in your box.

Finally, again, take care of your camera and lens. Watch what you are doing and always keep a close eye on your photography equipment. Under no circumstances should your camera or lens fall out of hand. Even if it falls, you can use your photography equipment for a few more days, but it can damage your equipment - in a way that you may never buy again. How to clean your lenses
