Pololem Beach:

It is one of the most popular beaches in Goa. It is a reflection of a tropical destination with wide beautiful sand and lots of palm trees.

If you are looking for peacetime on this Goa beach, you should go to the northern part of Pololem. However, if you go more into a party scene, you want to go central and south.


A special tip: Neptune Point is a place to visit on Saturday night. When this headphone party takes place everything will be quiet when you arrive, at which point you will be provided with headphones that have the best music for you to enjoy.

Agonda Beach:

Agonda beach is a Goa beach which is suitable for peaceful fighting with nature. Tourists do not visit this beach often, which makes it much quieter than options like Palolem. Remember that if you enjoy water sports, this is not the right beach for you.

High tides are considered dangerous, and it is best to appreciate just watching. In addition, there is not much shaking on this beach because the local community wants to preserve it as much as possible.

A place to visit: If you want to try amazing seafood then head to Fatima's Corner. It’s a bit far from the beach but it’s worth it. Visitors are always satisfied with this local cuisine.


Colva Beach:

Goa is a beach that offers the best of both worlds at Colva Beach. It is very popular because of how lively it is. During the day, you can look for a relaxing vibe and enjoy a delicious meal in a jerk. You should know that some shacks even provide accommodation. If you want to stay the night and enjoy it, it can be effective at night. Furthermore, if you enter the water sport, you have many options here.


Places to visit: The Magzica Beach shack is one of the great options at Colva Beach. People love this place because of how fresh the ingredients are. When available, they will also provide you with free beach towels and beach beds!

Putnam Beach:

Putnam Beach is a beach in South Goa which is how it stands. If you are looking for a comfortable environment while enjoying the white sand and scenic views, there is no need to visit anymore.


It is more suitable for beach travellers to read a book than to practice water sports. One of the things you love about Putnam is that you have a wide variety of food options. Goan delicious food with fresh seafood as well as international food such as Italian food.

Cocolem Beach:

Looking for more? Then Calelem Beach may be your best option. This Goa beach has a unique feature and it is that it is among the cliffs.

Kakolem beach is the most adventurous out there because access to the beach is not easy. To make it you have to go down a small cliff. However, once you come and feel the peace that you feel in this place, it will be appropriate. It is not for nothing that this beach is considered as one of the hidden gems in Goa.

If you are going to be alone, tell someone where you will be. Also, avoid swimming if the tide is high, as there are no lifeguards.

Butterfly Beach:

It is one of the special beaches in South Goa. It has the shape of a butterfly and these animals are often attracted to this area due to the presence of some animals. Moreover, you either have to go through the forest or come here with a boat from Palolem.

Cabo de Rama Beach:

Benaulim Beach:

It can be considered as Goa beach which unites North Goa with South Goa. Its vast expanse of sand, Benaulim beach offers a peaceful ride along with all the comforts you want. Although it is less visited by tourists, there are plenty of shacks for you to choose from.

For those interested in history and architecture, Benaulim Beach Goa is famous as a perfect place to see the Portuguese influence. You can also see it in the houses that are near the beach.


Places to visit: There are two European churches that can be worth a visit to understand this part of Goan history.

Mobar Beach:

If you’re more into the party scene, Moba Beach is a place you should consider. It is one of the fabulous beaches in South Goa due to its very expensive hotel. It has given the beach a reputation that you can appreciate.

What you can't miss: The Sal River is a part of this beautiful region and you can take a cruise to find it. The biodiversity will amaze you.

Cavelosim Beach:

Although Cavalosim is a neighbour of Mobar, the idea here is completely different. Cavelosim is famous as a peaceful destination. You can see the Arabian Sea, but also the Sal River. If you are more relaxed than adventure, you can lie down here and enjoy the sun.

If you are more interested in aquaculture, you will find a variety of options including banana boat sheds and parasailing. Also, there are lots of shacks, where you can get some local delicious food. There is something on Cavelosim beach.


Something to consider: You will see many shops when you go up to Cavlosim. This can be a good place to find souvenirs to take home.

Betalbatim Beach:

Famous for its beautiful sunsets, Betalbatim itself is a bifurcation. Although the beach is very quiet, there are lots of tremors on its north and south peaks. There are also hotels and spas nearby. However, it does not seem that the emergence of this beautiful landscape will affect the feeling of serenity.

If you are interested in water sports, it is not good to come here, because there is no alternative. The reverse is that you get a forbidden view of the sea. Also, if you arrange a boat ride with one of the fishermen, you most likely have spot dolphins.


Galgibaga Beach:

Galgibaga beach has many amazing things to admire. This Goa beach is a nesting site for Olive Ridley turtles. Talpona Beach:

Talpona Beach has opened to tourists just two years ago. Therefore, not yet very famous. Due to the presence of trees around nature, it offers a beautiful landscape


Also, if you go to the northern part of the beach, you will see something spectacular. You can see where the Talpona River meets the Arabian Sea. The contrast is really pleasing.

Betul Beach:

At Betul Beach, you will have many interesting options. It’s not a crowded beach and there aren’t many jolts. Therefore, you can simply relax with your book and bring yourself a picnic.

Utorda Beach:

Majorda Beach:

Majorda Beach is one of the most eclectic beaches in South Goa. It offers a variety of activities that you can do directly on or near the beach. On the beach, you can play in the water or get some souvenirs. However, it becomes more interesting as you continue your search.

You will find numerous Portuguese churches and buildings, which will give you a glimpse into the history of Goan. If you go to the highway you will find places where you can paintball or get into a go-kart.


What to eat: Martin Corner is one of the most recommended places to eat when you visit Mazarda Beach.


Varka Beach:

Varka Beach is a very wide expanse of sand and water where you can soothe and appreciate the beauty that you can present to the world. There is an interesting fact regarding sand. Although part of it is white, there are some areas where it takes on red tones. It is due to the presence of lava rock.

You will see many fishermen, a small village nearby and this is their main occupation. Despite being a quiet beach, for the most part, water sports are offered for your entertainment.

What to eat: Here are a few snacks where you can get some local food. You can go to one of the neighboring resorts for more superior food.


Cola Beach:

This Goa beach is not as easy to access as many others. But that’s one thing that makes it so special. Even the opening of a blue lagoon is one of Kola’s secret wonders known as the beach.

The thing you will probably like about Cola Beach is that you will see a lot of animals. Like you they enjoy nature and you will see monkeys, dolphins and much more.


What to eat: Due to the lack of shacks your options are limited to resorts near the beach. But there is also a restaurant called The Casa Diya, where you can get simple food.


Bambolim Beach:

All of you want to avoid the tourist scene, Bamblim provides the golden sand and the vast expanse of the touching sea. It is one of the most protected beaches in Goa and it is one of the things that makes it so special. You will see many residents fishing, whether as part of their work or for their daily diet.

You can choose to buy fresh catches from fishermen or go to some shack on the beach. There aren’t many of them, but they do provide delicious Goan food. Other shakes offer Portuguese food, which widens your options.

Siridao Beach:

Visiting this beach can be a gateway to the immersive experience of Goan local life. This is a very rocky beach, where swimming is not allowed. However, you can get an impressive view of the face between the Arabian Sea and the rocky terrain.


Also, you can see the Jesus de Nazareth Chapel, which will let you take a look at the Portuguese architecture. There is also the Saridao Cave, which is almost the historical site that dates to the end of the seventh century.

What to eat: You can go to the local village even if there is no swarm. There, you will find authentic and cheap options for you to enjoy.
