Why Use a Tripod for Capturing a Photo?

Why use a tripod for capturing a photo?
A Tripod

Tripod use is an important part of photography

The camera maker or the lens maker describes their stabilization in such a way that even if you take a picture during an earthquake, it will not affect the picture. You will get the perfect picture. Those who take pictures know very well what reality is.

Their statement is not being said to be absolutely wrong. There is a big difference between having stabilization and not having it. Even then, stabilization does not meet all requirements. You need an object called a tripod at a particular time.

First, let's know a little bit about stabilization. When you take a picture when you press the shutter release, the shutter moves away from the front of the sensor for a while, the light falls on the sensor and everything in front is scaled. This time can range from one-thousandth of a second to a few seconds.

If your hand cups at this point (which is very normal) then it will have an effect on the picture. Maybe taking pictures of dots in the picture. At one point in the photo shoot, the point shifted from one place to another due to the hand cap. This means the point you see in the picture is blurred instead of in one place.

In most cases, you can verify this problem yourself by looking at the sharp edges of the image. The lower the shutter speed, the more likely it is to happen. Again, the greater the distance, the less the effect of handcuffs can be seen there. While you also need to take pictures from a distance, you also need to keep the shutter speed low to take pictures in low light.

Camera manufacturers offer a variety of solutions. This is done under various names like sensor-shift stabilization, lens-based stabilization, digital stabilization, dual stabilization, etc. The company refers to the same work under different names. For example, what Canon calls image stabilization (IS), Nikon calls it Vibration Reduction (VR), and Tamron calls it Vibration Control (VC). The price of a lens with stabilization is much higher than a lens without stabilization.

The key is to turn off the light as soon as the lens is removed to reduce the amount of deviation caused by cutting your hand. As well as processing it specifically to eliminate the problem of low light. As a result, it is generally possible to use a higher shutter speed than stabilization using a lower shutter speed.

Some compact cameras use more fancy methods. They took a few pictures very quickly. Then calculate them and turn them into a good picture. This arrangement is for new users. Esuyog is not an SLR or professional camera.

Let's go back to the tripod. A tripod means three legs. It is a three-legged camera stand. The advantage of three legs is that they can be kept straight even in uneven places.

Rules of use put a camera on it. There is a system to stop the camera. The tripod has easy access to the camera. Even if you take a dark picture by keeping the camera there, there will be no reason for the picture to be blurred as the camera will not move. Many people take pictures even in complete darkness in this method which is known as night photography.

One of the problems with the tripod is that it has to be carried with the camera. Therefore, tripods of various sizes are available. Nowadays, there are also very small, pocket-mounted tripods available. The Gorillapod can be attached to anything from a tripod chair to a tree branch. There is also a monopod stand called a monopod. It has to be held while in use, yet sufficient balance can be maintained.

Currently, cameras are not limited to still photography, almost all can be used as video cameras. And you must have noticed that the video on TV is not as clear or stable as the video you made.

Perfect images cannot be obtained by relying solely on camera or lens stabilization. This is why a tripod is a necessary object.

In Bangladesh, good-quality photography/video tripods are available for taka 3,000.
