How Cute Baby Learn from Nature

How Your Baby Learn from Nature

Invite children to remove their shoes so they can explore their environment with their feet. Have them walk on grass, sand, rocks, and leaves. Encourage them to splash in puddles. The only rule that must be respected is to make sure the different surfaces are safe and that no objects with sharp edges are present.

Variation using sand: Prepare a mixture of cornstarch and water and add sand until you have the desired consistency. Deposit the mixture in trays and let children manipulate it. They will find this texture very amusing!

When children step outside, they get plenty of opportunities to interact with other playmates. In nature, they can connect with others, help each other, share their learning and solve problems together. Children often collaborate to have the best experience. They might also find a friend to reach out to when consoling themselves during times of need. Moreover, it helps children to act freely, while not escaping their responsibilities.

Integrating nature education into the curriculum teaches children many important concepts, such as aesthetics, respect, caring for the earth, and the interrelationships among humans and the habitat. As the world becomes more populated and polluted, and as some animal and plant life becomes endangered and extinct, the role that we all play in protecting or destroying the earth can be reinforced. Through nature study, children can learn how they affect the environment as well as how the environment affects them. By having rich and varied opportunities to experience and explore nature, children can begin to value and appreciate their immediate world and will hopefully generalize this knowledge to other situations and places.
